Taken from Ezekiel 34, Matthew 10:6, Matthew 12:12, Matthew 9:36, Galatians 6:16, John 10:15-16, and Ephesians 2:11-13, this track firstly exhorts the leaders of God's people to care for their flocks in place of just serving themselves (taken from Ezekiel 34). Secondly, Ezekiel 34 mentions that GOD, Yahweh, will search for His sheep and save them, which is what we see Yeshua (Jesus) doing in the New Testament. Thus, Ezekiel is linked to Yeshua in that Jesus said He has other sheep "not of this fold" and they will be One flock - thus we see the Gentiles (other sheep) grafted into Israel to be one flock with the Jews in Ephesians 2:11-13 and Romans 11. Thus this song is an exhortation for the leaders (shepherds) of Israel, to care for the sheep like Yahweh and Yeshua does, and it also is about God seeking out His sheep and saving them.
