This piece makes use of the common Hebrew phrase for "thanks a lot!" to praise Yeshua/Jesus for dying on the cross for us, and for His other laudable characteristics, including love and mercy in general, and His justice and wrath.

The song also makes note of a fascinating passage in the book of Luke, that is, Luke 1:32-33 --

"He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; 33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.” (NASB)

...Yet another reason to praise Him! But, yes, I find it interesting it doesn't say He'll reign over the gentiles, all though that is true as well, but it says He'll reign over the house of JACOB, and He'll have the throne of His father David.. Sounds like a very "Jewish" coming kingdom!!!
